This page is about the baby cradle in level 3 of the competition. The cradle holds a baby that the robot has to rescue and bring back to its start position.

The baby doll used by the competition organizers is a Toysmith "My Sweet Baby". The doll is about 16 cm long, and weighs 32 g.

The cradle contains the baby is set on top of a base that supports it. It is made out of foam boards, and built using hot glue. The rough edges are sanded, and a coat of white paint is applied. The base is made of the same things, but it also has 3 patterns attached to it to help with computer vision, when finding the cradle. There is also an option to use an LED instead of the patterns but you get a better score if you use the patterns.
